The Library offers several services apart from lending books. These include library classes and in-person tutorials where we teach how to cite and reference using APA 7, how to format a WMU dissertation and how to conduct literature reviews and academic searching.

Book a Librarian is a popular service when writing a dissertation or thesis. During these 30 minute sessions a librarian will help you search academic sites to find relevant resources for your research topic.

The WMU Library has access to many different search systems and databases. To guide you to the most relevant resources for your research the Library has created a guide aimed at helping patrons navigate the systems.

The WMU Library can borrow material from other libraries. This is primarily done within Sweden and the Nordic countries. In some cases, we also borrow from the rest of Europe. If your research concerns older material, or material outside our subject fields, you can request an interlibrary loan to assist your research. Interlibrary loans may only be collected onsite due to copyright restrictions.
