The Library offers several services apart from lending books. These include library classes and in-person tutorials where we teach how to cite and reference using APA 7, how to format a WMU dissertation and how to conduct literature reviews and academic searching.

Highlighted Resource
The International Monetary Fund's (IMF) eLibrary provides research and statistics on macroeconomics, global finance, policy, trade, and development on the 191 member countries. Content is updated daily and the archives reach back to 1946. Most content is in English but there are also a few publications in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Citation tools are built in, so it's easy to reference everything you find.

The WMU Library online collections include hundreds of thousands of titles accessible through our discovery tool OneSearch as well as individual databases. Find the most up to date information on a myriad of maritime and oceans related topics.
Onsite
The WMU Library offers a select collection of print material. Our collections are particularly strong in Maritime Law and Law of the Sea but also include important publications related to ocean management, fisheries, management, and maritime safety. Browse our print publications via our catalogue.
Visit us
The WMU Library welcomes external visitors as well as current students and staff. If you wish to visit the Library as an external user please email us to book a time.
